Renault was founded by Fernand, Marcel and Louis Renault in 1899 and has headquarters in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Later in 1914; Renault secured a contract to manufacture shells, engines, aircraft and ambulances with the French War Ministry. Along with manufacturing commercial and luxury cars, Renaults is also known for financing and manufacturing efficient and innovative electric vehicles.
With total revenue of 55.54 billion Euros, the company has sold more than 750,000 units in 2019 globally. Being the oldest car manufacturer, this automobile manufacturer has not only provided their customers with reliable cars but made them affordable with time as well with low repairing cost. Renault also holds 43.4% of Nissan which is also a well-known automobile manufacturer and in this alliance, 15% of Renault is also owned by Nissan and both the manufacturers have collaborated efficiently to boost their revenues.
