These number refer to the profile of the lease, how the payments of the lease for your car are structured. The first number – 3 , 6 , 9 or 12 is the number of monthly payments you agree to pay as your first payment, known as the “Initial Payment”. The second number is the number of additional payments for the term of the lease.
So, for 6 35, this would mean an Initial Payment of 6 times the monthly payment, which you would pay just prior to the leased vehicle being delivered, and the 35 would be the remaining number of monthly payments to be made, in this case 35 months, so a three year lease agreement.
As a rule, the higher the number of Initial Payments, the lower the ongoing monthly payments will be. The total amount paid over the term of your lease will be roughly the same.
